Ultrasound scanning

Ultrasound scanning is a method of visualizing internal organs and tissues using ultrasonic waves. It is also called ultrasound echography or ultrasound (ultrasound).

Ultrasound scanning uses a special sensor that sends high-frequency sound waves into the patient's body and records the reflected echoes. These signals are converted into a visual image of the internal structures of the body on the monitor of an ultrasound scanner.

Ultrasound scanning is widely used to examine the abdominal cavity, heart, blood vessels, urinary system, soft tissues and other organs. This method is safe, non-invasive and does not involve radiation exposure.

The main advantages of ultrasound scanning are the speed of execution, the absence of pain for the patient, the possibility of repeated use, and the low cost of the study.
