Unipress

"Unipress" is a drug that belongs to the group of calcium rope blockers. It is produced in Slovenia by the Krka company.

UniPress is used to treat hypertension in adults along with certain other medications such as beta blockers and diuretics. It may also be used as an alternative drug for people who cannot take ACE inhibitors due to high levels of protein in the blood due to a kidney disease called diabetic nephropathy. When used correctly, UniPress can lower blood pressure and protect blood vessels from damage. But there are also side effects that arise from this. These include headache, hypotension, dizziness, nausea, vomiting and visual disturbances. Typically, these symptoms go away within a few days. If symptoms are more severe or last longer, you should see a doctor. You should also avoid drinking alcohol while taking UniPress, as this may increase its effects.
