Uveitis Posterior

Posterior uveitis (in ICD-10 terminology) is a disease or disability of one eye or both eyes caused by inflammation of the choroid (choroidonia) or its artery and/or vein (retinaritis), which may be accompanied by a lack of vision or a significant deterioration in its functions ( decreased visual acuity).

In people with uveitis, posterior uveitis can present differently. Examples of symptoms of posterior uveitis: severe redness; foggy visibility; flashes of flashes; noticeable impairment of vision in one eye and/or both eyes; in some cases, long-term vision loss
