For some reason, I treat the Yves Rocher brand with distrust: I visit stores very rarely and leave either empty-handed or with frivolous purchases in the form of bright and fragrant shower gels and hand creams. I would never have looked in the direction of face creams if the hero of the post had not advised me. And just the other day I purchased a second jar of this wonderful product.

In addition to my skepticism towards Yves Rocher in general, there is one more thing that would make me never consider this cream: the manufacturer claims that it is soothing, that is, it is primarily intended for sensitive skin. You can’t call mine like this: last summer, when I purchased the first jar of cream, it was oily, but now it has become combination, that is, my cheeks sometimes suffer from dryness, but my forehead and nose continue to shine. And if I wanted to find a suitable cream for myself, then I would definitely look for a product with a mattifying effect.

So, the cream is packaged in a cardboard box, which in turn is sealed in cellophane. The product itself is in a glass jar with a screw-on lid. There is no protective film or membrane. The manufacturer focuses on the leaves of Sigesbeckia (I confess, I heard such a word for the first time), which have a calming effect and, accordingly, are included in the cream. In theory, there is no fragrance, so the cream smells slightly of something industrial.

I think this cream is an ideal product for the summer and here's why: it moisturizes the skin without creating any greenhouse effect. I honestly tried to understand its composition and found several ingredients that can form a film on the face and retain moisture precisely due to it, but I can boldly declare that the cream does not form any film. It is instantly absorbed, although in the first minute or two the face may shine too much, but after this period of time only natural radiance and velvety nourished skin remain. It’s also good as a base for makeup – it keeps everything in place. I already wrote above that I prefer to use cream in the warm season, and here, for many, the lack of SPF may be a significant disadvantage. The fact is that in this line Yves Rocher has a cream in a tube with SPF. When looking at both products in the online store, I could not find a significant difference between them and thought that the contents were very similar. In fact, the cream in a tube with SPF has a completely different texture, which I didn’t like, so I decided that I would do without SPF, because for me this is not the most important criterion.

And we can’t help but mention the main purpose of the cream - its calming effect. I can’t say that my skin suffers from this, but various types of irritation can periodically occur: for example, on the wings of the nose during allergies. In this case, the cream really helps to soothe the skin, and also relieves (not instantly, of course) unpleasant sensations. Now I have a small, but very unpleasant, cosmetic burn, which I also apply with this cream - at first it stung, but now it hardly stings and seems to be slowly healing.

My love for this cream is as delicate as its texture. I would call it creamy-gel, and it is due to this that the cream is absorbed so quickly and effortlessly.

And, of course, the composition. It seems like nothing special (I’m sure there will be those who will criticize it), but I’m not strong on ingredients. For me, the main thing is that the product works and completely suits me and my skin, and what is in the composition (if the product, of course, does not cause allergies) is the tenth thing.

As far as I know, Yves Rocher gives samples with almost every purchase. If samples of this cream are available, feel free to take it, use it and form your own opinion.

Hi all. I bought this cream because I was looking for a moisturizing cream for makeup for sensitive skin (I have mixed skin, enlarged pores, my skin lacks moisture). I also bought uvl. cream of the same series under the eyes, so that the corrector can be applied on top. I read it and put it down. reviews on the Yves Rocher website. Again, I didn’t look at the composition, because I thought for feelings. skin - that means there shouldn’t be a lot of nasty stuff. The cream applies well, the skin feels smooth and moisturized, after application the skin shines, but after soaking with a napkin everything disappears. The foundation is applied in a thin layer onto the skin, as if gliding) in general, not bad, but the composition surprised me with the content of all known parabens and naturally silicones - that’s why the skin shines and the foundation brush glides over the face as if it was smeared with wax or oil. But it doesn’t seem to leave a film on the skin, although it seemed like pimples were appearing more often.. Heh, I probably won’t use it anymore, even though I just opened the jar.. and the eye cream remains unopened..

Since the end of March I have been using the Daytime Moisturizing Soothing Cream.

I can say this:

— instantly absorbed and moisturizes the skin

- does not cause redness

The only negative, which I noticed 2-3 times when I applied it at night after bathing procedures, is that it forms an adhesive film. But this only happened a few times.
