Due to the fact that the device was not set up, the client received burns

A visitor to the capital's fitness center in the South-Western District, who decided to sunbathe in the solarium, received serious burns. The employees did not have time to set the new device to optimal power, which resulted in disastrous consequences for the client.
As MK learned, 27-year-old Daria, a project manager at an insurance company, adheres to a healthy lifestyle and is involved in fitness. The coach invited her to become a client of the new center, which opened on June 16 in the Viva shopping center on Polyany Street. During the second visit on June 27, the woman saw a solarium booth in the women's locker room and decided to sunbathe. Payment at the center is carried out using a modern system - contactless. Six minutes of tanning cost Daria 300 rubles. But before the end of the session, the girl felt a strong burning sensation and, without finishing the procedure, opened the door and ran out to the locker room. There she heard from other visitors that the cabin had not yet been set up, the lamps were very hot and it was impossible to sunbathe for more than three minutes.
By evening, the fitness center client’s condition worsened. The skin burned badly, the temperature rose, and by morning nausea increased. The ambulance doctors who arrived on call diagnosed a “thermal burn of the entire body, neck and chest” and hospitalized the patient in the burn department. Here the doctors corrected the diagnosis - “photodermatitis of 90% of the body surface.” The girl faces long-term treatment.
Daria intends to sue the center because she is sure that the employees should have warned all clients about the unconfigured equipment. Meanwhile, a sticker on the solarium booth stating that you cannot sunbathe for more than three minutes was hung only after an unpleasant incident. The center's employees, in turn, said that before visiting the solarium, clients should consult with the staff.

Many people visiting beauty salons do not even know about the tricks and tricks.
Sometimes salon directors, and sometimes the masters themselves, push these tricks; in this post I will tell you how to get around the tricks, etc.
I have been working in a beauty salon for many years, during all this time I have left many salons behind. Finally, I found my salon and decided to share what I have seen over many years and how the employees see the salon from the inside.
1 point.
"Solarium"
Now is the time to start going to the solarium; many people choose a beauty salon or tanning studio near their home.
In principle, there are no strong differences.
Except that:
1. economy class,
2. middle class,
3. business class and luxury.
When visiting the right salon, the following must be included in the price:
1) tanning session
2) micellar water
3)sink or restroom in a room with a solarium
4) space in the room (exact data can be found in the Russian Consumer Supervision Service)
5) napkins, paper towels
6)mat, foot towel
7)hand towel/paper towels
8) hats!
This is the main list for the middle and business class cabins.
For your safety, solarium treatment must be carried out after each client!
Be sure to pay attention to this.
When you have already become acquainted with the premises and have seen a suitable atmosphere where a tan will be pleasant, the time for “hot offers” comes.
The administrator offers to purchase a subscription at a favorable price, do not rush to refuse, ask to calculate the benefits together.
Choose a salon where the subscription is unlimited, this means the benefits are primarily for you! (For those who need a detailed answer in the comments, number 1 is more important)
Count how many times a week you walk, and whether you can always walk. It turns out that in this case (monthly subscription) only the salon will benefit.
You will not tan the standard 30.60. minutes per month.
Next comes the selection of creams and related products.
Solarium creams.
Previously, you could only choose from the Australian Gold series of creams; now it is the most expensive on the cream market.
But! Such a cream and its price are absolutely useless.
Pay attention to the company's creams
!Tony Maxx!
Why do they? Basically, many people use sachets and not on the whole body, but only on those parts that “sunbathe badly.”
And this cream can also be used when tanning in the sun, thereby taking it with you in your purse and after solarium, using it on the beach.
Of many creams, this brand is most often preferred.
For tanning with bronzers, choose the most powerful ones (more than 3 phase).
If the event is less than 2 weeks away, pay attention to the cream from Emerald Bay (Chocolate love), this particular cream gives a long-lasting and dark color.
Glasses, stickini and cream - a block for a tattoo.
Glasses are usually available in solariums, but this is not universal, so most often many people purchase them for themselves.
Actually, I don’t see the need for them, since you can simply close your eyes.
Stikinis are a must to protect “very delicate areas of the skin”
Now it’s time to talk about how many minutes to take for the first session and how changing lamps affects tanning.
It’s no secret to most that the lamps are barely replaced and the administrator forgets to warn and suddenly, by coincidence, during a normal session, you start to burn out.
The lamps have their own power (for more details about the lamps, put 2 in the comments) they are produced mainly by Norway and Germany. Solariums can differ in power, and there are also turbo or regular horizontal or vertical ones, with water, TV, etc.
Many people believe in the myth that a vertical body tans much better.
This is all a myth, and also, a myth is when people think that if the lamps were replaced half a year ago or even 1.5 years ago, then they no longer warm either the body or the soul))
In fact, the lamps work out their life by the hour.
There is information on the sensors for solariums and you can always find out how long the lamps have worked, it says how many of the required hours (before the next replacement) the lamps have worked.
This is ideal if out of 800 - 300-400 hours, the lamps burn out most of the time and give out the norm of the solarium itself.
As for the sessions themselves.
The first 3 minutes are used to warm up the lamps!
Therefore, it is worth asking the question: how long have people been in the solarium? It takes 50-60 minutes for the lamps to cool completely.
If there was a person in front of you and sunbathed for more than 7 minutes, the solarium will be warmed up for you for the first time this season, which means you can safely take:
For very light colors 4-6 minutes
For European skin type 6 -8 minutes
For dark skin type 9 - 10 minutes
It is better to go to the solarium systematically, i.e. choose a convenient hiking schedule, best after 48 hours.
Every 2 times increasing the time.
The solarium sellers themselves recommend sunbathing for no more than 15-17 minutes.
How can a solarium be useful?
In addition to tanning, it is possible and even necessary, especially in the cold season, to visit a solarium to improve immunity, and it will also not hurt a little for people suffering from psoriasis (*before visiting, you must consult a doctor)
I can tell you a lot more about the solarium (if anyone is interested, ask your questions in the comments)
Happy holidays and good mood to everyone.
P.S.: For those who looked at the destination - the solarium has fuses, so everything will be fine 😀
Hello! At the age of 15 I watched “Final Destination 3”, the scene in the solarium made quite a strong impression on me. Since then I couldn’t even think about a solarium, I was terribly afraid, and in the summer I tried to tan as much as possible. The first time I forced myself to go to a solarium was 2 years ago. I walked in, closed the door, turned on the button and then it started. I was seized by panic, my whole body was shaking, I started screaming, I thought I wouldn’t get out (I didn’t know that the door could be opened at any moment). Since then, I go to the solarium very rarely, and then during a session I periodically open and close the door, so to speak, checking))) And I also don’t lock the room there. I would like to know if there are similar ones here?)))

Maybe it will be easier in a vertical position?
And every time I am afraid that the timer will not work, after one advertisement in which the aunt was forgotten in the solarium and she tanned until she was black and even the previously white poodle (she was sunbathing with the poodle) turned black.))))
Author, you shouldn’t go to a solarium because of skin cancer! By the way, after watching "Final Destination" I'm afraid to drive on the autobahn next to trucks.
I've never been to a solarium. But after this film, I have a somewhat Ochkovo attitude towards carousels and attractions. I had to somehow sit on the carousel, but I didn’t experience anything other than fear.
Yes, I don’t go to the recumbent one, and when I went to the upright one for the first time, I constantly pulled the handle. I’ve been taking a couple of courses a year for about 7 years in the vertical one. But the horizontal one, thank you
Yes, great movie, all parts are good :))))

I don't go there because tanning beds cause skin cancer.

Why do you allow yourself to be profited from?
When I go, which is rare, I sunbathe with the door ajar (vertical). I’m also impressionable and watched that film. Although. I might have been afraid without it) rich fantasy)

I stopped walking for another reason, the doctor said that it provokes tumors and skin aging. I quit this and my skin became fresher.

I was always afraid to drive over bridges even without a movie.
So I'm not the only one)
After this film, you can develop a lot of phobias, about stadiums, about water, and about attractions.
And I was always afraid to go to the solarium and never went, because there you can pick up fungus and other nasty things. If you are very afraid, go to the vertical one. In general, they write correctly - it is very harmful to the skin. It's better not to overdo it with tanning.

ahahaha))) topic of laughing)) but on topic. I’m really afraid of closed spaces and that’s why I won’t go to the solarium like that

hahaha, I'm going crazy with your comments, but if on the topic, then in the film there are a lot of different moments and deaths, then it’s better to kill yourself right away, and the solarium, if you don’t try too hard, dries out all the bad things on your face and that’s a plus!
Nobody goes to solariums anymore, it’s harmful and the tan is disgusting. Travel warm in winter
Oh, I'm not alone. After watching this moment with the solarium, I have never been in it. I can’t overcome myself, even vertically..
Yes, I’m afraid of the horizontal one, and besides, it’s more unsanitary. And vertical is normal, what is there to be afraid of. But! After this film, I am afraid of bridges, trucks carrying large objects, elevators (!), carousels. Oh, I’m also very afraid of a slippery bath, and as luck would have it, my favorite scrub with oil is very greasy, and the bath becomes very slippery in the process.
In general, I don’t watch such films, I’m very impressionable. And I stopped going to the solarium about 6 years ago after a real incident in my city - a girl was standing in the solarium and the lamp there exploded. She was later in the hospital.

I'm afraid to go to the horizontal one, which is closed at the top. I'm not afraid to go out in the open. I rarely go to the solarium. I'm afraid of skin cancer
I’m also afraid of solariums precisely because of this movie))))) but I still go once a month, although of course I feel uneasy
In my opinion, there are no horizontal ones anywhere now, in our city there are only vertical ones everywhere, turbo. I myself don’t go for another reason. As for the film, yes, you can earn a lot of phobias because the very meaning of the impossibility of preventing the inevitable is frightening. solarium is the most harmless of them, no one forces you to dry there. And it’s strange that everyone is afraid of solariums. I then began to be afraid of traveling on the subway - I had to. And when death awaits in your own home, it’s tough, yes. but then it all went away.
It’s vertical, but in the horizontal one you lie down like in a coffin. Right now I don’t go to any, there are a lot of moles.
