Salt baths are a type of sodium chloride baths that have an effect on the human body associated with the salts contained in the water. Among the salts used for baths, the most common are table salt (NaCl) and Magnesium sulfate heptate (MgSO4 7H2O). It is not advisable to use such salts in their pure form - their combined solutions can be used. It is possible to add sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) 0.5 - 2 kg/10m3 solution to salt water.
