Vein of the Face Transverse

**The transverse vein of the face** is a deep vein on the face that connects the superficial veins of the orbit and the superficial temporal vein with the superficial veins of the earlobe. It is located at the junction of the occipital and temporal bones. This vein plays an important role in providing blood supply to the earlobe, otic bladder and parameatal part of the auricle.
