Venography (Venography), Phlebography (Phlebography)

Venography, Phlebography - radiographic examination that allows you to determine the course and distribution of veins in any specific area of the body. In this case, a radiopaque substance is slowly injected into the patient’s vein, and the resulting radiographs (venograms) reflect the nature of the distribution of veins in the area being examined. Venography can detect various vein injuries, obstructions, or abnormal connections to other vessels; in these places, the filling of the vein with the radiopaque substance injected into it is disrupted or the substance leaks out of it. Venography and Phlebography: X-ray examination of veins and arteries

Description Venography is an x-ray examination using a contrast agent to visualize veins and determine their location and course. During the examination, a contrast agent is injected into the patient's vein, and the resulting X-ray images reveal the nature and location of the veins in a specific area of the patient's body. This method allows you to identify various defects in the venous walls, obstruction or changes in the location of the veins in relation to other structures.

Phlebography is a type of x-ray examination of the circulatory system used to study the outflow
