Veins Diaphragmatic Abdominal

Diaphragmatic and abdominal veins: functions and structural features

The veins of the diaphragm and abdomen play an important role in the blood circulation process. They are involved in transporting blood from the abdominal organs and chest to the heart. Blood is drained from the deep veins of the circulatory system through venous vessels - venous valves.

Let's imagine their location: the venous system is located in the chest, in the lower abdomen, slightly above the muscle fibers of the rectus abdominis muscle. This means that they enter the muscles, from which some of the blood returns to the heart. In all body movements - breathing, stretching, raising arms, turning the body forward or to the side - this effect is manifested.
