Dosage forms: capsules 200 mg

Composition: Active substance - ketoconazole.

Indications for use: Mycoses of the skin, hair and nails caused by dermatophytes and/or yeasts (dermatophytosis, onychomycosis, candidal paronychia, pityriasis versicolor, folliculitis, trichophytosis), mycoses of the gastrointestinal tract, mycoses of the eyes, systemic mycoses (candidiasis, paracoccidioidomycosis, histoplasmosis, coccidioidomycosis, blastomycosis), cutaneous leishmaniasis, seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, fungal sepsis, vaginal candidiasis; mycoses in patients with immunodeficiency (prevention).

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, acute liver diseases, pregnancy, lactation. Restrictions on use: Decreased function of the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland, severe renal and liver failure.

Side effects: Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, hair loss, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, toxic hepatitis, transient increase in the level of transaminases in the blood, photophobia, gynecomastia, decreased libido, oligospermia, allergic reactions (urticaria, itching, arthralgia, paresthesia, hyperthermia).

Interaction: Incompatible with terfenadine, astemizole, alcohol. Weakens the effect of amphotericin B. Antacids, anticholinergics, H2 blockers significantly reduce absorption, rifampicin and isoniazid - concentration in the blood. Reduces the stimulating effect of corticotropin on the adrenal glands. Inhibits microsomal oxidation of simultaneously prescribed drugs and increases their concentration, increasing the toxicity of diphenine. The simultaneous administration of oral contraceptives with low hormone content causes breakthrough bleeding.
