Aujeszky's disease virus panic is one of the most dangerous infectious diseases in domestic animals, their prevention is reduced to a minimum. To combat this virus, specific immunotherapy and large-scale vaccination of four-legged pets are required. The main cause of death for patients is respiratory depression, paralysis, seizures and blood clotting problems.
In animals, the virus is most common in cats, but dogs, rabbits, foxes, rodents, poultry and fish may also be susceptible. The harmful effects can be carried by animals and parasitic insects, spreading infections to other types of pets and to people who come into contact with sick individuals.
