Trivittatus virus

Trivittatus virus belongs to the Bunyavirus genus of the Bunyavirus family. It is part of the ecological group of arboviruses and the Californian antigenic group.

This virus was first isolated from the Trivittatus mosquito in California in the 1950s. Until now, its pathogenicity for humans has not been established. The Trivittatus virus circulates in natural foci and is transmitted by mosquitoes.

Although the virus does not yet cause disease in humans, scientists continue to study its properties and potential dangers. Monitoring the circulation of Trivittatus is necessary to promptly detect any changes in its pathogenicity.
