Vitamax: multivitamin preparation with natural ingredients

Vitamax is a multivitamin preparation with macro- and microelements, amino acids and natural ingredients, produced by Amun Pharmaceutical Industries Co. and Glaxo Wellcome in Egypt. The drug is presented in the form of capsules.

The composition of Vitamax includes royal jelly, ginseng extract, pollen, wheat germ oil, soybean phosphatides, safflower oil, L-arginine, L-lysine, orotic acid, dimethylamino-ethanol bitartrate, vitamin A, vitamin D3, vitamin E, ascorbic acid, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, niacinamide and pantothenic acid.

Vitamax is recommended for the prevention of hypovitaminosis and mineral deficiency in adults, including the period after serious illnesses, operations, radiation therapy, as well as during stress and following a strict diet. The drug can help with decreased ability to concentrate, decreased performance (mental, physical) and fatigue. Vitamax can also be used to increase physical capabilities, in particular among athletes.

Vitamax is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity, arterial hypertension, increased excitability, convulsive conditions, epilepsy, pregnancy, breastfeeding and childhood (under 12 years). No side effects have been identified, and there is no data on interaction and overdose.

Particular attention should be paid to the fact that Vitamax is not recommended to be taken in the afternoon. This is due to the fact that the drug contains components that can increase stimulation of the nervous system and cause insomnia.
