Joint dropsy

Joint hydrops is a pathological process in which fluid (exudate) fills the joint cavity and causes inflammation. Most often it affects the joints of the legs and arms. Dropsy of the joints is always preceded by another disease. In the absence of timely diagnosis and treatment, it can lead to serious consequences.

*Causes of joint dropsy: - infection inside the joint; - damage to joints as a result of injury or surgery; - fractures of the bones of the extremities, including compression fractures, metaepiphyseal fractures with violation of the integrity of the joint capsule, etc.; - excessive physical stress on the body; - decreased immunity; - metabolic disease.
