Water pepper is a plant from the buckwheat family, also known as pepper knotweed, water pepper grass and water pepper liquid extract.

Water pepper grows in Russia and belongs to a group of plants used to stop bleeding. The main producer of water pepper in Russia is the Aventin-Ecohelp company.

Water pepper contains flavonoids, tannins, organic acids, vitamins K, E, carotene, ascorbic acid and trace elements.

The main indication for the use of water pepper is uterine and hemorrhoidal bleeding.

There is currently no data on contraindications, side effects, drug interactions and overdose of water pepper.
