**Epileptic excitement**, or **epileptic excitement (epilepsia)** or **epileptic seizures** - seizure-like paroxysmal generalized convulsive and/or non-convulsive contractions of individual muscle groups or their alternation, accompanying the development of certain (epileptic ) forms of mental illness, accompanied by short-term loss of consciousness, and sometimes hallucinations. The term **"attack" in epilepsy** refers to the transition from health to illness with a change in the normal state of the psyche and behavior of a person, and then the return of mental activity within a few hours.
