Vulvoperineovaginograph

Vulvo-perineal vaginography (VPVG) is an examination method that allows you to assess the condition of a woman’s vulva, vagina and perineum. This method is used to diagnose various diseases associated with these areas, such as infections, inflammations, tumors and others.

The vulva is the area of a woman's external genitalia, which includes the pubis, labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, and the skin around these organs. The perineum is the area between the vagina and anus and can also be affected by some medical conditions.

A vaginograph is a device that allows you to obtain an image of the vagina and its walls. For PVH, the doctor uses a vaginograph to obtain images of the vulva and vagina, as well as the perineum. This helps the doctor determine the presence of diseases such as cysts, polyps, ulcers and others, as well as assess the condition of the vaginal mucosa.

One of the advantages of VVG is that it allows the doctor to get a more accurate picture of the condition of the vulva and vagina than examining the vulva alone. This is especially important when diagnosing infections that may not be noticeable on routine examination.

However, HPVG may not always be available to all women, as it is a rather expensive examination method. Additionally, some women may experience discomfort or pain when using a vaginograph.

In general, VPVG is an important screening method for women that helps identify diseases of the vulva, vagina and perineum, as well as improve the quality of life of women. However, it must be remembered that VVG does not replace a routine examination of the vulva by a doctor, and can only be used after consultation with a doctor.

What is HPAV and why is it used for women? HPVG is a medical study that is carried out for the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases. This method involves photographing the vulva, vagina, perineum, cervix, anus and rectum using special equipment.

**Origins of creation**

The history of the vaginograph begins in ancient times. However, then it was used only for visual observation of the state of the female reproductive system. Later, at the end of the 19th century, a special instrument appeared - the first vaginograph. This method was used mainly for examining the cervix and vagina. Vaginography was used in almost all countries of the world and became one of the main methods of diagnosing the female genital area. Modern devices have become more sensitive and accurate. Thanks to this, research can be carried out at the earliest stages of disease development, that is, at a stage when other methods are often powerless. But the use of such innovative technologies is not always safe, so HPVG should be used only as prescribed by a doctor.

There are many changes happening in the modern world. In addition to the development of society, technologies are also developing that make it possible to improve the quality and efficiency of medical services. One such technology is vaginography. It provides accurate and detailed images of the female reproductive system, making it more accurate and safer than traditional methods such as inspection and palpation.
