Zerocide (international name - omeprazole) is an antiulcer drug produced by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. in India. The drug is available in the form of capsules containing 20 mg of the active substance - omeprazole.

Omeprazole belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors and is used to treat various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. It reduces the acidity of gastric juice, which promotes the healing of ulcers and prevents their formation. In addition, Zerotsid is effective in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, pathological hypersecretory conditions (for example, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome), non-ulcer dyspepsia and other diseases.

However, Zerocide also has contraindications. The drug is not recommended for hypersensitivity to omeprazole, during pregnancy and lactation.
