Janine

Janine: combined oral contraceptives from Germany

Janine is one of the most popular combined oral contraceptives produced by Jenafarm GmbH from Germany. This drug contains two active components - ethinyl estradiol and dienogest, which when combined provide high effectiveness in preventing unwanted pregnancy.

Janine is available in the form of tablets, each of which contains 0.03 mg of ethinyl estradiol and 2 mg of dienogest. This drug is recommended for use by women who are at risk of developing an unwanted pregnancy, as well as those who suffer from acne, seborrhea, hirsutism and androgenetic alopecia.

Janine has a number of contraindications, such as hypersensitivity, thrombosis (venous and arterial), conditions preceding thrombosis, severe diseases and liver tumors, hormone-dependent malignant tumors of the genital organs or mammary glands, vaginal bleeding of unknown origin and pregnancy.

When using Janine, side effects may occur, such as headache, migraine, depression, nausea, vomiting, changes in vaginal secretion, various skin reactions, chloasma, engorgement and tenderness of the mammary glands, secretion from them, fluid retention, changes in body weight, poor contact lens tolerance, allergic reactions and changes in libido.

Simultaneous long-term use of certain medications may weaken the effect of Janine and also reduce estradiol levels.

In case of an overdose of Janine, symptoms such as nausea and vomiting may occur, which require symptomatic treatment.

Women using Janine for a long time should undergo preventive control examinations every 6 months. It is also worth noting that women with diabetes should be under close medical supervision. If there is no withdrawal bleeding twice in a row or irregular use of the drug, examination is required to exclude pregnancy. The development of symptoms of venous or arterial thrombosis requires stopping the drug and consulting a doctor.

Janine is an effective contraceptive that helps prevent unwanted pregnancy. However, it has contraindications and may cause side effects, so it should be used only after consultation with a doctor and under his supervision. In addition, when using Zhanin, women should monitor their health and undergo regular check-ups.
