Gland Acinosa

Gland acinosis is a rare disease that is characterized by damage to the alveolar ducts, as a result of which they become like a thin hair network and are visible on the radiograph in the form of acini. The disease is diagnosed only with the help of instrumental studies clinical manifestations are atypical and may resemble interstitial lung diseases, infiltrative tuberculosis and chronic pneumonia. Thoracoscopy, as well as radiation studies of the lungs, are of leading importance in the diagnosis of acinar disease. Treatment can only be surgical: partial resection of the lung or lobectomy - according to the doctor’s decision.
