Zi-Factor is an antibiotic produced by the Russian pharmaceutical company Veropharm and its Belgorod branch. The active substance of the drug is azithromycin, which belongs to the group of macrolide and azalide antibiotics. Z-Factor is used to treat infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, ENT, genitourinary system, skin and soft tissue, as well as to treat Lyme disease.

The drug is available in the form of 250 mg capsules and 500 mg film-coated tablets. Depending on the severity of the disease and the age of the patient, the doctor may recommend different doses and regimens.

Z-Factor has a number of contraindications, including hypersensitivity to macrolides, severe liver dysfunction, pregnancy and lactation. Taking the medicine may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, dizziness and others.
