Anatomy of the spinal nerves emerging from the thoracic vertebrae

The first pair of these nerves emerges between the first and second thoracic vertebrae and divides into two parts. Most of these parts disperse in the muscles of the ribs and in the muscles of the spine, and the rest - along the first ribs. This part accompanies the eighth nerve of the neck, and they extend together to the arms until they reach the forearm and hand.

The second pair emerges from an opening adjacent to said opening. One part of it goes to the outside of the humerus and gives it sensitivity, and the other part connects with the other remaining pairs of nerves and goes to the muscles located on the shoulder blade and moving its joint, as well as to the muscles of the spine.

As for those of these nerves that grow from the thoracic vertebrae, their branches, which do not go to the scapula, go to the muscles of the spine and to the muscles lying between the true ribs, as well as to the muscles lying on the outside of the chest.

And those nerves that grow from the vertebrae of the false ribs go to the muscles lying between the ribs and to the abdominal muscles. Along with the branches of these nerves are beating and resting vessels that enter the spinal cord through the exit points of the nerves.
