The new Clarins Multi-Active Yeux promises to relieve thirty-year-old women from wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes. Will it help those older and younger? Olya T& and Masha B are checking.
Multi-Active Yeux works on the first lines around the eyes, dark circles from stress (not pigmentation) and puffiness that is caused by fatigue and lack of sleep, not ptosis. Extracts of teasel and horse chestnut should help prevent bruises: they stimulate microcirculation and prevent red blood cells from accumulating in the tissues, which cause the skin to darken. Reflective particles provide an instant visual effect, and caffeine fights swelling. A cooling metal tip serves the same purpose: after applying the cream (this can be done with your fingers), you need to walk the iron end along the eyelids from the inner corner of the eye to the outer one.
REVIEWS:
Olya (41 years old, the skin around the eyes is normal, there are small wrinkles and swelling): “I never part with this tube: it’s small, convenient, and fits in any cosmetic bag. I use it when my eyes are swollen (it doesn’t matter why - I cried, I’m tired, I rubbed it, the main thing is that it happens often) - I just press the cold metal tip to my eyelids. The swelling immediately decreases, and in general it’s just pleasant. It’s cool that the product is not applied through the tip itself, but from a hole nearby, that is, you don’t have to worry that the cream will accidentally squeeze out and smear the concealer or shadows. The cream itself is also excellent - light, non-sticky, non-greasy and with good photoshop skills. I immediately see the difference “before” and “after”: the look becomes more fresh. I can’t say anything about long-term consequences yet - first you need to use the entire tube. But so far I really like everything.”
Masha (29 years old, the skin around the eyes is dry, there are barely noticeable wrinkles and bruises):
“Nice gel: light, non-greasy, absorbs quickly. Mother-of-pearl particles give a barely noticeable light reflection. True, I don’t fully understand this trick, because my dark circles under my eyes still need to be covered with concealer or corrector.
The applicator is very successful: on one side the product is squeezed out, and on the other there is a metal tip for massage. So nice and cool. Now in the mornings I hang out in the bathroom even longer, because how can I not move them around my eyes more?
The cream moisturizes well and combines with other products. Have your wrinkles become smaller? I’m not sure - they are barely noticeable anyway, but I don’t have swelling. But if you’re about thirty and suddenly feel like it’s time to start using something with the “anti-aging” prefix, Multi-Active Yeux is right on point.”

Have you already tried this cream? How do you like it?
Eye care: Clarins, Olay and Sanoflore
I’ll tell you about several creams for the skin around the eyes, about which there is an established opinion.
All three are from different categories: luxury, mass and organic, the more interesting the comparison will be)
A little about the source data. I’m 26, normal skin, prone to dry, combination in summer. The skin around the eyes is dry, even possibly dehydrated, there are no special wrinkles yet, only from a lack of hydration, and under the left eye there are two mimic ones (I don’t know what this is connected with, why exactly there). I expect at least high-quality hydration from the cream (apparently the constant lack of sleep and the pace of life takes its toll, because if I rest and sleep a lot, things go much better, but I simply can’t afford to sleep as much as I need to look good, this is the minimum 10 hours).
1. Clarins Eye Contour Balm – Balm for skin care around eye
For some reason I have subconscious respect for the Clarens brand, so during my next visit to the IDB I tortured the brand consultant, who eventually gave up and was generous with samples) One of them is this balm, volume - 3 ml, it lasted me for a month.
Compound:
Water, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, OctyldDecanol, Glyceerin, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolyme, M ICA, CETEARIL GLUCOSIDE, ETHYOXYLGLYCERIN, ROSA Centifolia Flower Extract, Eleven.se, Stearoyl Inulin, Barium Sulfate, Sodium Hydroxide, Titanium Dioxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Disodium Edta, Sodium Citrate, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Bht, Geraniol, Citronellol
What effect does the balm promise:
– prevents the appearance of large and small wrinkles, as well as “crow’s feet”; smoothes them out if they have already appeared,
- thanks to corrective pigments, makes wrinkles and skin imperfections invisible,
— restores skin elasticity, softens, nourishes and moisturizes the skin around the eyes.
Expanded opinion:
I expected a mega effect, judging by the manufacturer’s descriptions.
The balm is white in color, has the texture of a cream, not oily or heavy, the fragrance is very weak, I can’t even detect what it smells like. I didn’t notice any corrective pigments (although maybe I shouldn’t have)) It is absorbed quite quickly (I apply it on a thermal bath), the makeup stays on it well, does not float or crease. Actually, this is where the advantages end for me. I didn’t see any effect on my “dehydrated” wrinkles, no nutrition or softening either, moreover, unfortunately, there was no high-quality hydration as there was never. I used it persistently for a month, hoping for a miracle that would have a cumulative effect.
A month later it ended, I still haven’t noticed any positive changes, I definitely won’t buy the full version. The effect of this balm remains a mystery to me, because... The composition contains shea butter, I used it in its pure form, and I remember that it moisturizes and nourishes very well, but here there is zero effect. Overall a total disappointment...
Grade: 3 — Price: I have a sample, the Internet says approx. 1200-1500 rubles.
2. Olay Age Defying – Gel for the skin around the eyes
Full composition unfortunately no, I threw out the box, here’s what I managed to find: a new improved Age Defying formula with ceramides, vitamins B3 and E, provitamin B5 and green tea extract.
What the gel promises: Moisturizes the skin around the eyes, removes signs of fatigue and stress, helps smooth out wrinkles, making crow's feet and expression lines less noticeable, instantly refreshes the delicate skin around the eyes, helps get rid of dark circles and puffiness under the eyes.
Expanded opinion:
This gel was my first eyelid skin care product. 4 years ago, I rated him quite highly. At that time, I took it for preventive purposes, there were no special problems. The gel moisturized well, smoothed out swelling and gave it a more “fresh” appearance. It’s quite interesting that, remembering about it, I took it again, but my opinion about it is different (or rather, everything is changing, whine).
Firstly, I realized that I don’t like putting my fingers into a jar of cream. Secondly, over 4 years the needs and condition of my skin have changed, so the effect is assessed differently.
The texture of the gel is very silicone, although there is no box, I bet that at the beginning of the list there are solid silicones, and at the end are vitamins. If you apply a drop to a damp face, it is quickly absorbed and the makeup goes on well. But if you apply it to dry skin, or take excess of it, it will take a long time to be absorbed, it won’t lie there incomprehensibly, it can roll off, and so will the makeup accordingly. In general, as with all silicone products, moderation is needed here.
I have nothing against silicones, it’s just that, as I understand it, their main function in skin care products is to protect the skin from external influences, and a visual effect, that is, they do not provide prolonged hydration or nutrition, their effect lasts as long as you use the product. If from a cream hydration and nutrition are required, other ingredients are needed in the composition - the same squalane, oils, etc.
To summarize, this is a good budget product for girls 20-25 years old, or those who have eyelid skin without any special problems.
Price: approx. 400 rub. for 15 ml.
3. Sanoflore anti-puffines hydrating eye contour care - moisturizing cream for the eye contour
Compound:
What action is declared:
Based on Bio flower water Cornflower and Liquorice extract. Removes bags and puffiness under the eyes, moisturizes and relaxes the eye contour.
Expanded opinion:
This cream pleased me, unlike the previous ones.
Convenient dispenser, no need to climb with your hands, for me this is a big plus. But on the other hand, I can’t see how much cream is left, I kept thinking, what if it suddenly runs out)
The texture is quite light, with golden reflective particles (by the way, this doesn’t really appeal to me), a light herbaceous aroma, absorbs quickly, leaving behind a thin layer of reflective particles. To be honest, I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews for this product, and I’m also happy with it, but these reflectors bother me personally, I don’t like how the corrector fits on them, and that’s all.
I noticed his work almost immediately. Already on the second day, the skin became moisturized, even a little nourished, as if smoothed out, wrinkles from dryness and dehydration disappeared, in general, the visual effect is obvious.
It did not cause any allergies or any irritation.
I used it for six months, from November to April, and there was still some left (but since the period of use after opening is 6 months, I did not take risks, especially since it is organic, and at the moment it has really changed), so, in It worked great during the cold season.
Bottom line: the cream does what it promises, and would have deserved a solid 5, if not for this shimmer. I will definitely buy it again, but as a night product, but for now I’m looking)
To summarize the topic of the post, of the three participants in this round, organic won, albeit not unconditionally. I don’t lose hope of finding my ideal cream, Pevonia should arrive soon, I expect a lot from her.
My story has come to an end. I hope something was useful)
