Pronounced effect, moisturizing.

Skin type: Combination, prone to dryness

Great cream! Makes the face noticeably smoother, dries out rashes, and moisturizes the skin. Slowly removes clogged pores. Sometimes it tingles a little after application, but it only lasts a couple of minutes at most. It goes well under foundation, which made me very happy. There is no immediate effect, but I see a cumulative effect.
The only negative is that sometimes it is difficult to squeeze out of the tube, it is quite long, and the product becomes smaller and smaller, so you have to “drive” it throughout the entire volume of the bottle.

It has virtually no odor, spreads easily, and does not clog pores.

I didn’t find any as such.

I have been using the cream for 3 weeks. There is no wow effect, but it certainly doesn’t make things worse. It slowly dissolves closed comedones on the cheeks, although I cannot attribute this merit solely to the cream, because... the struggle is complex.
It doesn’t clog pores, a very small amount is enough for the whole face, it’s quickly absorbed, it’s enough hydration for me for the whole day, although it doesn’t remove oily shine in any way, my forehead starts to shine after a couple of hours

Effectively copes with skin rashes. It has an antibacterial effect and does not have a strong odor.

There is none of them. Maybe the price is for some.

Skin type: Combined type

Hello everybody! I have been using this cream for more than six months now. I use it as a spot treatment on problem areas. I started using it when my entire face was covered in acne, and within a week all the unpleasant pimples were gone. I use it on my face, back, chin and neck. After I used it to cure my acne, it took a week. The pimples still appeared, but these were just one-time moments. The convenient thin spout of the tube allows you to apply the cream precisely to the site of inflammation. I press a little and it hits my finger. I don’t put it near my face, it’s unhygienic.

The entire Ducray Keracnyl line contains acids, they help fight acne and remove defects caused by acne. And the manufacturer recommends not going out into direct sunlight after use so as not to harm the skin.

The cream is good and effective. It has a light consistency, is quickly absorbed into the skin, and has a pleasant aroma, characteristic of all other products in the same series.

Is it possible, when undergoing treatment for acne with drugs such as Roaccutane, Acnecutane and other retinoids, to minimize side effects such as dry skin and flaking? Four real people went to a dermatologist for medical treatment of their skin, and we are recording their successes.

The project was initiated by the pharmaceutical brand Ducray: they have a new cream, Keracnyl PP, which is specifically designed to save skin with acne during very aggressive treatment (not only with retinoids, but with local and general antibiotics and other drugs). It was decided to test how it helps, openly and on real people.

Keracnyl PP is a soothing cream that, thanks to the myrtacin in its composition, is effective against P. acne, removes oily shine due to sabal extract, and has an antipruritic effect. Relieves irritation, improves the protective properties of the skin during drug treatment of acne by 96%, prevents dryness and dehydration for 6 hours.

Due to its composition, the cream increases the effectiveness of treatment, removing side effects.

All the heroes of the project were sent for treatment to Olga Vladimirovna Sidorova, a dermatovenerologist and dermatocosmetologist. She receives consultations at the clinic of the Ministry of Agriculture and at the First Doctor clinic. She prefers to treat patients with the maximum allowable dosages for their weight of Roaccutane and its generics and is known for bringing the situation “to porcelain skin.” (After these words, I immediately wanted Roaccutane from Olga, but I have a mild form, they won’t give it to me -)).

Today - about the successes of the first two heroes.

Katya, 27 years old

Katya has the mildest form of acne among the four heroes of our project.

It was decided to use Roaccutane in Katya’s situation because basic therapy did not provide any improvement and the girl had been suffering from acne for a very long time.

“Katya has a mixed form of acne, comedonal papulopustular,” commented Olga Vladimirovna. “Plus she loves to pick her face.”

Like all project participants, Katya passed all the necessary tests - and continued to take them once every month or two (when taking retinoids it is very important to monitor liver parameters). Before starting treatment, a pregnancy test must be done (these drugs are teratogenic) and in case of a negative result, treatment begins on the first day of menstruation.

In the first month, Katya was prescribed a dose of 60 mg of Roaccutane per day + Heptral to support the liver.

Katya’s second appointment was on December 21

After this, her dose of Roaccutane was reduced to 40 mg per day. “Single inflammatory elements and post-inflammatory pigmentation remained,” noted Olga Vladimirovna.

“When I first started taking Roaccutane, my skin was a mess,” said Katya. — How could the layers be removed from a lizard? It literally peeled off and dried out very badly. The T-zone is extremely dry. Your hands are dry, your face is dry, your lips are cracking. Once I was laughing on the phone and my lip cracked and blood began to flow. Zombie, no less -) And one day the courier arrived and was speechless when I smiled, and the skin around my mouth all puffed up. There were also cracks in the nose and sometimes there was blood.”

Olga Vladimirovna notes that this is a common situation, especially in the first month of using Roaccutane. It is important to use moisturizers on all exposed areas of the body (many people also suffer from hands) and use them whenever you feel the need.

To save the situation, Katya was introduced into her home care: Keraсnyl cleansing gel, Keraсnyl PP cream, Ducray Iktian lip balm, cleansing body oil and Avene balm.

“Keraсnyl PP cream is excellent - it’s light in texture and moisturizes well. I was saved only by it, I smeared myself six times a day. It is absorbed very quickly and does not lie like a greasy pancake like baby creams,” noted Katya.

The composition of "Keraknil PP" (mirtacin and vitamin PP) can significantly increase the protective properties of the skin (relieves itching, irritation and redness) compared to other emollients, and also has an anti-inflammatory effect (this is confirmed by the results of a clinical study conducted in Italy) - so that this is not only hydration for suffering skin, but also, in a sense, accelerating treatment.

Katya has been taking Roaccutane at a dosage of 32 mg per day for some time now and is going off the drug. “Look how the skin has improved,” Olga Vladimirovna is pleased. “The pinkish dermatitis persists a little, but overall everything is fine.” It turned out that Katya did not take the drug for several days due to poisoning, and when she started again, she again felt dryness - hence the dermatitis. “You can’t stop drinking retinoids! I’ve said it many times!” - Olga Vladimirovna throws up her hands.

Katya will be taken off the drug gradually - the dose will be reduced over the course of a month. She will then meet with her doctor one last time to discuss further care. But the course of action is clear even now: the skin is still thin, and it will not be possible to injure it with laser resurfacing and peeling for another year. It will gradually recover, but it will no longer be as oily as before, and the skin secretion will be more liquid. 2 months after stopping retinoids, you can use active home care (but without acids!) and do injections (if necessary).

“Before menstruation, 1-2 inflammations can still appear, this is a variant of the norm,” warns Olga Vladimirovna. - Don't touch them! The skin is delicate and will take a long time to heal.”

The doctor is very pleased with Katya’s results. Katya also glows, lying on the couch.

Valera started having skin problems at the age of 15. At first there were acne on his forehead (he attributes this to the fact that he had long hair then). Then everything spread to the cheeks. The young man did not give up and tried different treatment methods, but they did not help much.

“Valera is prescribed a dosage of Roaccutane 70 mg per day,” explains Olga Vladimirovna. — The point of treatment with retinoids is to gain a cumulative dose. The dose is calculated based on body weight. We need to ensure that there are no rashes at all for at least a month, and then reduce the dosage, gradually allowing the patient to come off this drug.”

In December, a month later, Valera’s results were still not very impressive, but changes in her skin had already begun.

“It is very important to constantly get tested,” noted Olga Vladimirovna. — Roaccutane affects protein-cholesterol metabolism, these are the main functions of the liver. The drug is very active and is excreted primarily by the liver. If biochemistry indicators drop, you need to change the dosage.”

Valera, fortunately, judging by the tests, tolerates the drug well.

By February his progress was very good. “It has become noticeably better! Less inflammation. Of course, pigmentation remains,” comments Olga Vladimirovna.

“Not only did my facial skin become dry, I also began to wash my hair less often - there is no need,” Valera laughed at the reception. “But the peeling is strong, and after washing the skin noticeably tightens.” We see he has serious dermatitis around his mouth. It turns out that Valera sometimes did not use Keracnyl PP cream at all. “Apply morning and evening and during the day if you feel the need,” the doctor instructed him. “Katya used it constantly, her skin is in good condition.”

“Now Valera is in a period of stabilization. The dynamics are very good. When there is no inflammation left, you can think about what to do with stagnant pigmentation. It is formed due to the fact that the tissues are compressed and do not receive normal nutrition; in fact, foci of cyanosis arise due to compressed vessels, this is a local change in trophism. Valera is recommended for laser skin resurfacing, but in about a year, next winter. However, even without her, by the summer the situation will be much better,” Olga comments.

Valera will take Roaccutane at the same dosage for at least another month or two, then for about a month and a half - a lower dose, accompanying all this with home care with Ducray Keracnyl.
