Night cream with acids reviews

According to vague memories of a school chemistry course, acid is something caustic and destructive. But in the beauty industry there are substances with much more gentle properties. Details are in our article.

  1. What acids are used in cosmetics and why?
  2. Precautionary measures
  3. Review of creams with acids

What acids are used in cosmetics and why?

Let's go back to school chemistry class for a moment to remember: an acid is a substance in which hydrogen atoms are combined with a group of elements, usually including oxygen. Acids are very different and not necessarily acidic. By the way, our DNA is also an acid.

Hyaluronic

A true genius of hydration and the main keeper of moisture in our skin (as well as joints). Hyaluronic acid molecules attract water, convert it into a gel and hold it, releasing it as needed so that the skin does not feel thirsty.

Amino acids are the basis of any proteins. © iStock

Fruit (alpha hydroxy, AHA)

These include acids that are usually included in peels:

These substances are truly acidic and relatively caustic. They destroy the connections between keratinized cells and promote their separation from the epidermis.

Because AHAs also remove surface pigmentation by exfoliation, they are often used in whitening products, as well as:

in formulas for problem and aging skin, which is characterized by hyperkeratosis;

in cleansers and exfoliators;

in serums and concentrates against hyperpigmentation.

Acid peels are undesirable for those with thin, dry, dehydrated skin.

Salicylic (beta-hydroxy-, BHA)

A proven ingredient in products for oily and problematic acne-prone skin. Salicylic acid, like fruit acid, has an exfoliating effect, which is also combined with an anti-inflammatory effect (it is no coincidence that this substance is the basis of aspirin).

Fruit acids provide an exfoliating effect. © iStock

Salicylic acid also affects the production of sebum, visually narrowing the pores. It is quite widespread in nature and is contained, for example, in chamomile extract.

Jasmonovaya

This natural component is very popular in modern cosmetics. Jasmonic acid produced by plants controls their growth and repairs damage. It slows down seed germination, inhibits the process of withering and falling leaves.

It is not surprising that jasmonic acid has a place in anti-aging cosmetics.

Amino acids

They are the basis of any proteins, and life in the biological sense is nothing more than the interaction of proteins. The human body is also built from them. For example, collagen is a combination of certain amino acids. Amino acids are used as cosmetic ingredients:

All of them stimulate skin regeneration and are part of intensely moisturizing and anti-aging products.

Fat

These are simply fats, lipids - their softness has become the main secret to the success of cosmetic oils and nutrients. For example, the mega-popular Omega-3, -6, -9 are fatty acids that are found in many vegetable oils widely used in the beauty industry.

Elena Eliseeva, Vichy expert, explains: “Fatty acids are a necessary building material of cell membranes and intercellular substance. Creams are recommended for external use, and products with Omega-3, -6 and -9 for diet.”

Vitamins

Ascorbic, lipoic, nicotinic - some of these “vitamin acids” have an antioxidant effect. Lipoic acid also prevents the process of glycation - the gluing of collagen fibers. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) stimulates its production.

Precautionary measures

The vast majority of the acids listed above are very gentle and gentle on the skin. Perhaps only two species require special attention.

AHA acids

BHA acids

Salicylic acid, seemingly indispensable for oily skin, can dry it out. It is important to choose a product that combines this important ingredient with softening and moisturizing components.

Review of creams with acids

Hyaluronic acid

Night anti-aging care Revitalift Filler (ha), L’Oréal Paris

The highlight of the cream is highly concentrated hyaluronic acid. It’s not for nothing that the product is called a “volume restorer”: wrinkles are filled, the skin is smoothed, filled with moisture, and becomes noticeably more youthful and elastic.

Facial fluid “Genius of Hydration”, L’Oréal Paris

A new product with a light texture is an alternative to the usual moisturizer. The main component is hyaluronic acid. The fluid is used as a basic care product twice a day and retains moisture for up to 72 hours.

Night SPA care Aqualia Thermal, Vichy

The carefully crafted moisturizing formula is based on mineral-rich thermal water, and the main ingredient is hyaluronic acid. The patented aquabioryl molecule helps maintain the effect for 48 hours.

Lipohydroxy acids

Night care Normaderm Detox, Vichy

Includes the most effective acids to combat imperfections and problems of oily skin: salicylic and lipohydroxy. They cleanse the skin, exfoliate dead cells and visibly tighten pores.

A product that corrects and evens out skin texture, Micro-Blur Skin Perfector, Kiehl’s

In addition to lipohydroxy acid, the cream also contains salicylic acid, which determines the corrective effect, that is, the elimination of imperfections in problem skin.

Corrective cream-gel for problem skin Effaclar Duo (+), La Roche-Posay

Active ingredients: LHA, salicylic acid - help reduce imperfections and prevent the appearance of acne. To improve the quality of sebum, linoleic acid - vitamin F - was added to the composition.

Jasmonic acid

Super Multi-Corrective Cream, Kiehl’s

In combination with sodium hyaluronate, jasmonic acid provides an anti-aging effect. The number of fine wrinkles is reduced, the skin becomes more elastic and looks toned.

Multi-active face cream Visionnaire Crème, Lancôme

The special signaling molecule LR 2412 is based on jasmonic acid. Its renewal energy is harmoniously combined with the action of hyaluronic acid, which provides a noticeable rejuvenating effect.

Fatty acid

Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2, SkinCeuticals

It contains three main types of lipids: ceramides, cholesterol, Omega-3 and -6 fatty acids. The cream reduces visible signs of aging, makes the skin more elastic, and supports self-healing processes.

Face cream “Luxury Nutrition. The lightness of silk”, L’Oréal Paris

The formula is enriched with flower and fruit oils, that is, fatty acids, therefore it provides an excellent nutritional effect and restores natural lipid protection.

Last week we talked about how products with acids help solve various skin problems - from acne to pigmentation. Today we are looking at a wide selection of cosmetics with acids: we divided the products into categories depending on their texture and found several options for different skin types and problems.

Let us clarify separately: there are many products with acids for washing on the market. However, as experts from Paula Begun’s team explain, any acid needs time to penetrate the skin and act, and cleansers are on the face for just a couple of minutes. Therefore, we will not recommend foams and gels with acids for washing, but will immediately start with tonics.

Tonics

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-wYQUBqm.webp

Toners with acids are used immediately after washing - on clean skin. There is an opinion that before using the cream again, you need to wait 20 minutes so that the tonic with acids has time to take effect. In fact, this is not so: the effect of acids begins from the moment they are applied and continues as long as the acids are on the skin. You can neutralize the acid by adding alkali, and most creams have a pH level that is acidic or close to neutral, so their application simply cannot significantly affect the effectiveness of products with acids.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-hvZBu.webp

Clarins Gentle Exfoliator

Clarins tonic contains glycolic, salicylic and tartaric acids in low but noticeable concentrations - the manufacturer chose not to disclose specific figures. The product leaves a very slight stickiness, which goes away if you let the tonic absorb properly. The effect is noticeable after two or three applications, and if you apply the tonic at night in combination with intensive care, it will be even faster. In addition to excellent exfoliation, Clarins Gentle Exfoliator provides deep hydration and is suitable for those with dry skin.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-HfiDUa.webp

REN Clarifying Toning Lotion

A soft and gentle tonic from the REN line for problem skin. Contains glycolic, lactic acids and fruit extracts. Thanks to its gentle action, the product can be used by people with any skin type. With constant use of the tonic, the effect makes itself felt within a couple of weeks. After applying the product, a slight feeling of skin tightness may appear, but it is easily eliminated with subsequent moisturizing care - the main thing is not to neglect this point.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-UIRHuu.webp

Stridex Soft Touch Pads

An alcohol-free exfoliator in the form of discs soaked in salicylic acid. Available in concentrations of 0.5, 1 and 2%. The discs are convenient to use on the body, including to combat ingrown hairs after hair removal. Please note that Stridex is an aggressive product: use it with caution, only on problem areas of the skin and be sure to moisturize them afterwards. By the way, the discs can deal with blackheads and small pimples in just two applications.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-SJEzI.webp

Biologique Recherche Lotion P50

One of the most popular acid tonics in the West, which in Russia is sold only in specialized salons. Contains a mixture of AHA acids and salicylic acid. Smoothes out fine wrinkles, cleanses pores, evens out the skin and makes it radiant - in general, everything that is usually expected from products with acids. May cause slight redness, but it goes away quickly. For sensitive skin it may be too aggressive, as it contains alcohol as a preservative.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-xJCgql.webp

SkinCeuticals
Blemish + Age Solution

Pimples and breakouts are commonly associated with teenage skin, but professional brand SkinCeuticals understands that even mature skin can be acne-prone. This impressive 250ml toner contains glycolic acid to hydrate and salicylic acid to combat breakouts. It acts very gently and does not dry out the skin, so you can safely use the product several times a day.

Emulsions and lotions

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-wYQUBqm.webp

Emulsions and lotions are characterized by a liquid and slightly viscous texture; they often leave a not very pleasant sticky feeling on the face for a long time. This is exactly why it is most comfortable to use such products at night, or in the morning, if you have enough time for the lotion to be completely absorbed. Like tonics, lotions and emulsions are applied to clean skin, and your usual care is applied on top. Acids can be used with almost any creams, oils and serums, except those that contain vitamin C. “Acids neutralize vitamin C, and it loses its antioxidant properties,” explains cosmetologist Sali Kardava.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-sEuthb.webp

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liqu >A key product from Paula Begun's own brand, recommended for all skin types and conditions as a daily exfoliant. Products for problem skin often tend to dry it out, but this lotion, on the contrary, retains water in the epidermis. It also cleanses pores, reduces acne marks, evens out skin tone and texture. The product does not contain alcohol, which is not so often found in salicylic lotions. Paula herself recommends using it every day or even twice a day.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-lfVkS.webp

Clinique Mild Clarifying Lotion

The lotion contains only salicylic acid in an almost imperceptible concentration and acts very gently but effectively. Unlike all other Clinique toners, it does not contain alcohol and is perfect for those with problematic but sensitive skin. With constant use, it reduces the number of blackheads, minor inflammations and makes the skin smoother. It is not as sticky as other lotions and is therefore good for use in the morning.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-UMCiW.webp

Noreva Exfoliac AHA BHA Lotion

The Exfoliac acid line from the French pharmacy brand Noreva is designed specifically for acne-prone skin. This lotion contains salicylic and glycolic acids at a concentration of 12%. It can also be used by people with problem-free skin who periodically need powerful exfoliation - the main thing is to act carefully, listen to the body's reaction and, if there is the slightest concern, put the product aside. It is recommended to use this lotion no more than once or twice a week, as it is really powerful and easy to overdo.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-wgcpb.webp

Holy Land Alpha Complex
Face Lotion

The Israeli brand Holy Land specializes in cosmetics for problem skin, and this is far from the only acidic product that it has in its range. The lotion is recommended for dry skin with uneven tone and texture. The product perfectly exfoliates, refreshes and moisturizes, and also allows other care to work more effectively.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-ZxLYLFo.webp

Alpha-H Liquid Gold

This powerful exfoliant with glycolic acid caused a sensation in the West at one time, and for good reason: the lotion is effective in the fight against wrinkles and pigmentation. It is especially recommended for owners of mature skin - to increase firmness and elasticity. The manufacturer strictly warns: you can use the lotion only at night and no more than three times a week, otherwise there is a high risk of increased skin sensitivity, peeling and inflammation.

Creams

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-wYQUBqm.webp

Most day creams contain low concentrations of acids, which do not exfoliate, but help retain water in the skin. For exfoliating acid creams, you should first turn to pharmacy brands, each of which has an acid line for problem skin. We will repeat again - you can use them even if you have absolutely clean skin that just needs a good peeling. Most of these creams have a difficult-to-apply texture and a strong color or scent, which makes it best to apply them at night.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-naPYq.webp

Reviva Labs
10% Glycolic Ac >One of the most popular and inexpensive glycolic acid creams is available in concentrations of 5 and 10%. It is recommended to use it at night; the manufacturer himself advises starting with a concentration of 5% so as not to overdo it with exfoliation. At first, the skin may sting quite strongly, but with constant use the cream removes post-acne.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-uOwAPrP.webp

Avène Cleanance K Cream-Gel

A light gel-cream that contains glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids and copes well with skin unevenness, blackheads, and also has a sebum-regulating effect. The product leaves a strong sticky feeling, so it is best to leave it for use before bed. The cream may dry out the skin a little, so we advise you to pay special attention to moisturizing care.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-yFQCAE.webp

Derma E Overnight Peel

This peeling cream is recommended to be applied at night to clean skin. It contains only AHA acids, which means it is perfect for those with dry and mature skin. It may sting a little, but this is absolutely normal for acidic products. The concentration of acids is quite low - 5%, pH - 3.5, which is responsibly reported by the manufacturer directly on the packaging. Even beginners can use this cream, but it’s better to start with one or two times a week, gradually increasing the frequency as necessary.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-AsWcCt.webp

Filorga Sleep and Peel

A night exfoliating cream for all skin types, which the manufacturer recommends applying to a clean face and not using any skin care products with it. The product evens out skin tone and texture, removes fine wrinkles and age spots - the result is noticeable literally after a couple of uses. In addition to exfoliation, the cream provides good hydration, which is sometimes sorely lacking in peelings.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-drtbIK.webp

Vichy Normaderm Total Mat

Mattifying cream that visually reduces pore size. This is one of the few acid creams that have a light texture and can serve as an excellent makeup base for oily and combination skin. Keeps the skin matte for a long time and at the same time heals the pores. Contains salicylic acid in a concentration of 0.5%, which is quite suitable for daily use.

Masks

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-wYQUBqm.webp

Exfoliating masks are an easy way to get instant results, as well as get to know the acids and understand which one is right for you and how often you need to use it. Many masks with acids are gentle and can be used every day, but we still strongly recommend following the manufacturer’s recommendations at first, and also using restorative ones after acid masks in order to soothe the skin and provide it with deep hydration and nutrition.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-yOWwd.webp

Natura Siberica Face Peeling

It is still very difficult to find products with acids in the mass market, but the Natura Siberica brand went a little further than other manufacturers and released several products with glycolic and salicylic acids. This mask contains both AHA and BHA acids, and while gentle and soft, it is very effective - and gives an effect almost immediately. The skin becomes soft, smooth and moisturized. Due to its dense texture, the mask is difficult to wash off, but its low price and high effectiveness justify this minor inconvenience.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-eVhnLHx.webp

Avène Cleanance Mask

A soft clay mask with glycolic and salicylic acids is especially recommended for those with oily and problematic skin. Instantly evens out tone and brightens blackheads, and with continued use helps keep skin smooth and radiant. The composition also contains abrasive particles, which should provide additional exfoliation, but in reality they are practically useless, since the mask itself provides a very good peeling effect.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-dolXT.webp

“Bark” cream mask
with fruit acids

One of the most popular acid masks on the Russian market from a domestic manufacturer of pharmaceutical cosmetics, which turned out to be so successful at its low price that it is still difficult (but possible) to find on sale. Due to the high concentration of acids in the product, the face may sting strongly, and you should not be surprised by redness. We recommend using the mask no more than once or twice a week, and those with sensitive skin should avoid it altogether.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-lansNi.webp

Caudalie Glycolic Peel Mask

This very soft mask has a delicate whipped consistency, does not sting at all, does not tighten the skin and moisturizes well. The renewal effect will not be as obvious as from other masks, but for sensitive and thin skin this is even more of a plus.

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-uNGJrHA.webp

REN Glycol Lactic
Radiance Renewal Mask

The organic brand REN is worth loving at least for their packaging: airtight and functional. The peeling itself is bright orange in color with an orange scent and has a pleasant texture. This renewing mask contains glycolic and lactic acids, with constant use it smooths out wrinkles and makes the face radiant.

The sixth stage in the Korean skin care system is nutrition. Creams perform this function. But they don't necessarily have to be nutritious. Let's figure out how.

We continue to delve into the Korean K-beauty care system. The most unusual and controversial is behind us: a two-stage cleansing system (hydrophilic oils + foams), toners-that-are-not-tonics, elixirs and emulsions. And creams, it would seem... there are creams in Korea too. But we found it surprising that in the K-beauty system they are assigned the function of nutrition. Does this mean that regardless of skin type, you need to choose moisturizing or nourishing? What about acids, retinol, vitamin C? Or ampoules, serums, essences are responsible for solving problems.

As always, our charming expert, Korean Kim Bo Hyang, helped us figure it out:

“Of course, the cream is chosen according to its function, composition and texture. But they focus not on skin type (oily – mattify, dry – moisturize), but on their own feelings and expectations. Usually we fit the cream into the current care system. For example, if I were using an ampoule or serum with retinol/acids, I would choose a regular moisturizer, or one that would “continue” the effect of concentrated products. For aging skin, a nourishing cream is most often used.

On hot days, we Koreans switch to light textures. But we still choose a cream, and not limit ourselves to an emulsion.

If you think that five layers of skincare products is too much, no one is forcing you :) My minimum set after cleansing is a toner, a serum ampoule and a cream.”

Okay, this is clear. But why don't most Korean moisturizers have SPF? Does this mean that they are followed by a sun screen?

"Yes exactly. Firstly, in Korea, with rare exceptions, there is no division between day and night care. And you can’t apply sunscreen cream before bed. Secondly, SPF 15-30, which is usually found in skincare and foundation creams, and cushions, is not enough for effective protection. In any case, you would have to apply them in a thick, dense layer: it is read that the amount of cream should be comparable to the size of a five-ruble coin (in Korea - 500 won). That’s why Korean women apply high SPF sun screens separately.”

Mattifying cream Paper Oil Expert Cream, Vprove

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-vYQvFoq.webp

For combination and oily skin.

Controls sebum production and thus prolongs the durability of makeup.

Key ingredients: ceramides and ginseng extract.

Olya: “The first place in this cream is dimethicone, the second is dimethicone, and even the third is dimethicone. But if you think that I will scold him now, you are mistaken. Despite the ceramides and ginseng extract in the composition, this is not a cream care, but a mattifying and leveling base for makeup. With useful components, yes, but they are clearly not the main thing there. It copes with its tasks (removing oily shine and not allowing it to get through makeup later) with an A plus. I also use it for styling my hair - it works great if you don’t apply it to the roots. For me, this is not a product for every day, but after a workout. Three in one: base, powder, hair gel. Everything else from your sports cosmetics bag can be easily disposed of.”

Nourishing cream Expert Rose Veil Cream, Vprove

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-MBiNYO.webp

For all skin types, including sensitive and irritated.

Key ingredients: panthenol, allantoin, rose and purslane extract.

Olya: “It seems that every month I will find a new wow product from the Korean brand Vprove - and this will continue until their catalog runs out. But the truth is, for me this brand is the main discovery of the year. All products are simple and work perfectly: moisturize, nourish and relieve any irritation. I tried it after injections - it was a success, I tried it after a sharp allergic reaction to cosmetics - it was great, I tried it on unknown irritated skin - after 15 minutes there was no trace of irritation left.

An important point: the cream is white and pink, and this is exactly the shade it gives to the skin. So unless you're planning on becoming Snow White, don't go overboard with it: take just a drop. It’s very concentrated, so it’s enough to nourish, even out the complexion, and mattify.”

Essential Perfect Bouncing Cream, Iope

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-COCgUXD.webp

For all skin types, including sensitive.

Key Ingredients: adenosine, hyaluronic acid, vitamin B3, Centella extract, shea butter.

Yana K.: “What has technology come to!” – I think every time I use this cream. Because the texture is almost jelly, from which you need to pinch off pieces. And then the surface is smoothed out, and the cream is like new. How do you like that, huh? The effect is also excellent: amazing hydration. It also doesn't crease under makeup. It is very important for me. Overall, one of the ideal creams.”

Price: about 1900 rub. in online stores.

Deep moisturizing cream Ctrl-A Soothing Moisturiser, Dr. Jart+

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-SXqDZHi.webp

  1. For problematic skin.
  2. Key components: AC-FensineTM anti-inflammatory complex, beta-glucan, Asian centella extract.
  3. Deeply moisturizes and helps keep skin clean.

Ira: “If you need to describe this cream in one word, the word would be “balance.” It has a balanced texture - it is light, but still a cream, and not a gel like the same Tea Toc Water Cream. Therefore, it does not sink into the skin without leaving a trace, but actually moisturizes, as the Koreans call it “from the inside and out,” that is, at the level of sensations + gives a visual effect. It does not clog pores and does not provoke inflammation; on the contrary, it soothes. And this is one of the few products that I calmly use under SPF along with serums - it does not add calories to the layer cake (I have a regular history of using the “SPF directly on serum” scheme, but usually, when there is still cream in the middle, the skin sweats-)) . The only thing to keep in mind is that it does not mattify. And so - my love -) You may not believe it, but when the Ctrl-A Soothing Moisturizer ran out, I cut the tube and spent another week picking out the remains from the bottom of the barrel.”

Price: 4830 rub. to discounts at Ile de Beaute.

Face cream Tea Toc Water Cream, A;T Fox

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-RYFOTV.webp

  1. For normal, combination and oily skin.
  2. Face cream controls sebum production (green tea extract), tightens pores and moisturizes (aloe extract).
  3. Fat-free cooling texture.

Ira: “Koreans are such Koreans 🙂 Under the name “cream” there is a transparent thick gel, similar to aloe gels. It's a pity I didn't get it in the summer. Then you would definitely come to the court - it gives such a slight cooling and hydration. It also soothes and tightens pores a little (all aloe-based things work like that for me). Now it’s not enough for my combination skin - at least a little bit of fat and oil, give it to me :) But in the heat, I’m sure it will be just right.”

Moisturizing cream Raw Moisturizer, May Coop

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-SPCkpBj.webp

For all skin types.

Key ingredients: concentrated maple tree sap, cactus, baobab and aloe extracts.

Yana K.: “I have a contradictory relationship with this brand: on the one hand, I want to praise it, but then you read the release and begin to doubt it. For example, “helps maintain an optimal level of moisture” and “moisturizes” – are these different things? If yes, then how to distinguish them. Or “stimulates the appearance of new cells” - it’s just scary to imagine. But if we ignore the official description, the cream is good. Moisturizes and nourishes a little. The texture is pleasant. Goes well under makeup, doesn’t make it run or crease.”

Softening egg cream Egg Mellow Cream, Too Cool For School

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-RLUEbkW.webp

For all skin types.

Masha: “A pleasant moisturizing and softening cream for every day, morning and hour when you feel the urge to put on makeup. Easy to apply, quickly absorbed, does not crease, and has never conflicted with my foundations, undertone bases, and BB creams. It smells sweet and pleasant. The texture is a little sticky, but it doesn't bother me a little. You shouldn’t expect a miraculous transformation, but as a basic care, especially for the summer, it’s just right.”

Good and average

Moisturizing cream Yuza Sorbet, Erborian

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-mbGzp.webp

For all skin types.

Key Ingredients: licorice, green plum and yuzu extract.

Karina: “Perhaps the best foundation for “no makeup makeup.” It mattifies perfectly, but at the same time the face does not become doll-like and lifeless. And somehow magically it makes it so that any foundation fits perfectly on it and blends into the skin, as if nothing had been applied to it.

Although the skincare properties of this cream are very mediocre! Now, in winter, I am sorely lacking in hydration.”

Rejuvenating snail cream Wrinkle Snail System Cream, The Skin House

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-pYDMHRY.webp

For sensitive, problematic, dehydrated skin.

Key ingredients: snail secretion filtrate, babassu oil, peony and edelweiss root extract.

Julia: “Get acquainted: in front of you is, naturally, snot. And this snot is supposed to be smeared on the face #because it is very useful -))). They also flow out of the nose like liquid snot -)) The cream really gives stickiness on the face at first - you need to let it absorb. It provides hydration and nutrition too. But again, I think it’s better to use it on normal to dry skin - it gave me a slight shine throughout the day.”

Moisturizing cream Good Cera Super Cream, Holika Holika

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-xiYpm.webp

For dry and sensitive skin.

Moisturizes for 72 hours, relieves itching and redness.

Key Ingredients: hyaluronic acid, allantoin, yeast extract.

Lena: “Krem was just pretending to be great. At first, honestly, I liked it: it moisturized, if not for 72 hours, then for 6-8-12 for sure. I applied it and it felt immediately comfortable, the skin was soft and smooth, I wanted to touch it again and again.

This is exactly what confused me. After two hours, your face feels just as soft and smooth to the touch. At the end of the day it’s the same. It just adds to the feeling of a greenhouse. A film clearly remains on the skin, which creates the appearance of moisturizing. I used the following ingredients: butylene glycol, glycerin, paraffin, silicones, a little more silicones, coconut oil and a few extracts. As expected, after ten days the pores required cleaning. But for walks in the cold, you probably won’t find a better cream than this.”

Moisturizing cream Red Appletox Honey Cream, Tony Moly

nochnoj-krem-s-kislotami-CvLED.webp

For all skin types.

Key Ingredients: extract of Manuka honey and apples, propolis.

Yana K.: “I tried this cream a hundred years ago, when I just started to be interested in Korean cosmetics. I read reviews like: “Oh, what magical hydration!” and bought it. You know, in my opinion, it’s bullshit in a cute jar. By the way, later I became convinced that the same can be said about 90% of Tony Moly products. Specifically, Red Appletox Honey Cream is the most common cream, and it also clogs pores.”
