The first aid kit for the population should not contain any antiseptics, medicines, ointments, or creams. The kit should include the following:
telephone numbers of all departments/emergency medical services, your home and office telephone numbers, telephone numbers of relatives and friends who can be contacted for help if necessary, sterile gauze pads (or bandages) of different sizes for applying to wounds, a triangular bandage and safety pins, bandage with cotton-gauze pad, antiseptic wipe
or soap, strips of adhesive tape for cuts and scrapes (as a temporary remedy), a roll of adhesive tape, scissors, tweezers, disposable latex protective gloves, face mask, pencil and notepad to write a note for the doctor or paramedic, blanket, thermometer, tokens or magnetic card for a pay phone, plastic bag.
