Bilobil is a medicine produced by the company Krka d.d. from Slovenia and is used to improve cerebral circulation. It contains a standardized extract from the leaves of the Ginkgo biloba plant.

The international name of Bilobil is Ginkgo biloba, and it is also known under various synonyms, such as Bilobil forte, Gingogink, Ginkgo Antiox, Ginkgo biloba, Ginkgo Venum, Ginkgo Evalar, Ginkgo Evalar, Ginkyo, Ginkogink, Ginos, Memoplant, Revital Ginko and Tanakan.

Bilobil is available in the form of 40 mg capsules. It is used in the treatment of discirculatory encephalopathy, which can manifest itself as attention and/or memory disorders, decreased intellectual abilities, anxiety, fear, and sleep disturbances. It can also be used to treat dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, to improve memory and attention in young people, and to treat neurosensory disorders such as vertigo, tinnitus, hypoacusia, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, asthenic conditions, psychogenic, neurotic, caused by traumatic brain injury, disorders of peripheral circulation and microcirculation, including arteriopathy of the lower extremities and Raynaud's syndrome.

Despite its beneficial properties, Bilobil has some contraindications. It is not recommended for use in cases of hypersensitivity or pregnancy. Patients may experience dyspeptic disorders, headache, dizziness and allergic reactions.
