Acariasis Pulmonary

Acariasis of pulmonary origin is a chronic granulomatous disease of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, characterized by inflammatory changes and the formation of a specific cellular histiocytic granuloma. This disease has its own name - flea dermatitis.

Its effect is caused by a mite that is often found on the street - scabies itch (also known as ear gland).

Over time, rashes appear in the form of papules or vesicles of 2-3 mm, located in folds or cracks of the skin and accompanied by intense itching. Elements tend to spread. As the size of the papules increases, a vascular pattern of a reddish-bluish tint appears. When combing damaged areas, weeping occurs. In most cases, the process begins on the skin of the back, between the shoulder blades, lower back, inner surface of the arms, and legs. Less commonly, scabies are found on the face and scalp. Over time, the rashes merge into peculiar “paths”.

Each variety of scaly mites has its own “favorite” way of influencing the human body. Therefore, dermatitis, for example, is caused by gamas, another disease is caused - sarcoptic mange. Sarcoptoid mites are found in hair follicles; they do not infect humans upon contact, but cause severe itching. From the bites of these tiny parasitic insects, small passages with a depth of 3-4 mm appear on the victim’s body. These are scratches without a cavity that are slowly filled with tissue elements. Damaged hair roots and small vascular branches are found inside. The phenomenon of “cat scratches” is formed - characteristic marks in the form of grayish crusts with clear boundaries. They occur when pressure is applied to the back of fleas. The appearance of such signs means that scabies dermatitis is progressing.
