Adenofibrosa polyp is a small growth of tissue consisting of acinar cells in the shape of a mushroom or tube. They can be found throughout the body. Some types of adenofibromas grow in size and have negative health effects, but others are usually painless and can be removed by curettage. Adenophbromas are a common finding during endoscopic examination of people over 35 years of age. It is often also recommended to endoscopically remove various other polyps of the stomach and intestines during the examination.
