Agglutinin Anti-R

Anti-P agglutinin is called an agglutinogen of erythrocytes in humans and in some animals; it has antigenic activity. Almost everyone knows about group A and B antigens, since cat and human serum erythocytes bind to them. Cat red blood cells are suitable for human blood, but are not Rh positive, so when transfusing a cat, it is better to choose a different blood type. Cats are afraid of the sight and smell of red blood cells of groups A and B (blood), but antigen A is still present in their blood. Therefore, they cannot use the blood of a person with the Rh antigen in treatment, even if he does not have agglutination. When different types of blood are mixed with each other, this means the presence of antigens in it.
