Agonadism

In the 21st century, one of the most pressing issues is the topic of agonadism and its impact on human health. Agonadism is an anomaly of the reproductive system in men, characterized by the presence of both gonads (testes) with a normal reproductive system. In the body of agonadists there are testicles that are normal in morphological structure, but without the functional ability to produce sperm or are completely affected, pathologically altered. Agonadism can be caused by various factors such as genetic disorders, infections, injury or disease. Typically, patients with agonadism have normal genitals but are unable to produce sperm. However, some types of agonadism can lead to infertility.
