Indications for use: peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, gastritis, reflux esophagitis, non-ulcer dyspepsia syndrome, diaphragmatic hernia, functional diseases of the large intestine, colopathies, enterocolitis, sigmoiditis, proctitis, diverticulitis, diarrhea after gastrectomy, poisoning, drug-induced gastrointestinal lesions
Contraindications: severe renal failure; restrictions for use - old age, impaired renal function, pregnancy, lactation
Side effects: constipation (especially in older people and those leading a sedentary lifestyle)
Drug interactions: reduces the absorption of furosemide, tetracyclines, digoxin, isoniazid, indomethacin, ranitidine; when taken together, an interval of at least 1-2 hours is recommended
Overdose: decreased intestinal motility, eliminated by laxatives
Special instructions: Long-term treatment is not recommended for unspecified diagnosis
