Compound:
The active substance is calcium salt of alginic acid. 1 sachet contains 5 g of active substance.
Indications for use:
- As a first aid remedy for acute poisoning with radionuclides and heavy metals.
- Treatment and prevention of intoxication with radionuclides and heavy metals, both in case of accidental exposure and long-term exposure to contaminated products.
- Treatment and prevention of chronic lead intoxication.
- As part of complex therapy for chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, gastrointestinal motility disorders, skin allergic reactions, hypercholesterolemia.
Contraindications:
Currently, no contraindications have been established.
Side effect:
From the gastrointestinal tract: rarely - mild diarrhea, which goes away on its own when you stop taking the drug.
Interaction:
Enterosorption may increase the body's sensitivity to drugs.
Overdose:
There is currently no information about an overdose of the drug.
Special instructions:
Due to the possible effect on the absorption of other drugs, the interval between taking Algisorb and other drugs should be 1-2 hours.
