Compound:
The active substance is calcium salt of alginic acid. 1 sachet contains 5 g of active substance.

Indications for use:

  1. As a first aid remedy for acute poisoning with radionuclides and heavy metals.
  2. Treatment and prevention of intoxication with radionuclides and heavy metals, both in case of accidental exposure and long-term exposure to contaminated products.
  3. Treatment and prevention of chronic lead intoxication.
  4. As part of complex therapy for chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, gastrointestinal motility disorders, skin allergic reactions, hypercholesterolemia.

Contraindications:
Currently, no contraindications have been established.

Side effect:
From the gastrointestinal tract: rarely - mild diarrhea, which goes away on its own when you stop taking the drug.

Interaction:
Enterosorption may increase the body's sensitivity to drugs.

Overdose:
There is currently no information about an overdose of the drug.

Special instructions:
Due to the possible effect on the absorption of other drugs, the interval between taking Algisorb and other drugs should be 1-2 hours.
