Allergen Epidermal

Epidermal allergen is a drug used for the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases caused by plant pollen, food products, drugs, etc.

Country of origin - Russia.

Pharm group - Immunobiological preparations.

Manufacturers - Biomed named after Mechnikov (Russia).

International name - Epidermal allergen.

Dosage forms - solution for intradermal administration, 4.5 ml bottles complete with a tuberculin syringe.

The mechanism of action of the epidermal allergen is based on specific immunotherapy - repeated administration of increasing doses of the allergen, resulting in a decrease in the sensitivity of the immune system. This results in decreased production of IgE antibodies and increased production of IgG. As a result, the severity of allergic reactions upon contact with a causally significant allergen is reduced.
