The hake allergen is a purified extract of mites of the species Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, which are one of the most common household allergens.

The drug is used for the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases caused by hypersensitivity to house dust allergens. It is used for skin allergy tests, as well as for immunotherapy (specific hyposensitization) to reduce sensitivity to the allergen.
