Alsidrex-G

Alsidrex-G: an effective medicine for the treatment of arterial hypertension

Alsidrex-G is a combination drug created for the treatment of arterial hypertension. The drug contains three active ingredients: reserpine, dihydralazine sulfate and hydrochlorothiazide. Reserpine lowers blood pressure by reducing the activity of the sympathetic nervous system, which controls blood pressure. Dihydralazine sulfate dilates blood vessels, which reduces resistance to blood flow, and hydrochlorothiazide acts as a diuretic, increasing the removal of excess fluid from the body.

Alsidrex-G is manufactured by Menon Pharma in India and is available in the form of 140 mg tablets. The drug is also known under other names, such as Adelphan-esidrex, Barofan Zidrex, Relsidrex-G, Triniton and Phensidex N.
