Analgin and Butadione are drugs that have a selective neurotoxic (convulsive) and psychotropic effect.
In case of mild poisoning with these drugs, the following are observed: tinnitus, nausea, vomiting, general weakness, decreased body temperature, shortness of breath, palpitations.
In case of severe poisoning, the following may develop: convulsions, drowsiness, delirium, loss of consciousness and coma, dilated pupils, cyanosis, hypothermia, decreased blood pressure.
Also, with an overdose of these drugs, the following may be observed: peripheral edema due to retention of sodium and chloride ions in the body, acute agranulocytosis, gastric bleeding, hemorrhagic rash.
The lethal dose is 10-15 g.
Treatment for poisoning includes:

Gastric lavage, taking a saline laxative.

Forced diuresis, alkalization of the blood (sodium bicarbonate 10-15 g orally).

Prescription of cardiovascular drugs, anticonvulsants (diazepam), for edema - diuretics and potassium chloride.
