Anemograph

An anemograph is a device for measuring wind speed. It is used in a variety of fields including meteorology, aerodynamics, marine engineering and wind turbine manufacturing. Anemographs typically consist of a housing that contains a mechanism that measures wind speed and a transducer that converts the signal into an electrical signal.

The operating principle of an anemograph is based on changing the speed of air movement around it. Under the influence of the air flow, the rotating disk with sensitive elements changes its rotation speed. This change is recorded by a special converter, which transmits the data to a computer or other device. The data is then processed and displayed on the screen in the form of graphs and charts.

Anemographs can be either stationary or portable. Fixed instruments are mounted on high masts and are used for long-term monitoring of weather and wind conditions. Portable devices are usually small in size and weight, allowing them to be used
