Aneurysm Traumatic

A traumatic aneurysm is one of the types of aneurysms. Aneurysms are an expansion of a blood vessel, which occurs due to the thinning of its wall. In clinical practice, two main types of aneurysms are noted: traumatic and arteriovenous. Traumatic ones are distinguished depending on the cause of the aneurysmal bulge - the mechanism of damage. Based on this feature, open, closed, gunshot, and domestic aneurysms of various areas (head, neck, abdomen, pelvis) are distinguished.
