Angina Fibrinous-Membranous

Fibrinous membranous tonsillitis - causes.

Fibrinous membranous inflammation of the tonsils has another name - membranous (fibrinous) tonsillitis or phlegmonous tonsillitis (acute edema and catarrhal inflammation of the tonsils). This type of inflammation occurs mainly in winter, when the weather changes sharply, the ambient temperature is low and humidity is high - thus creating favorable conditions for the development of pathogenic microorganisms. In addition, the disease most often develops when the patient’s immunity decreases. Thus, most often people who have a history of chronic infectious diseases of bacterial and viral origin are affected by the disease. Also, the disease occurs more often in people who abuse alcohol.
