Antinosologism

Antinozoology is a set of modern scientific theories that question the universality, meaning and truth of the concept of disease in medicine and health philosophy. Instead, antinozoologists focus their efforts on a broader understanding of disease, viewing it not only as the result of physical or biological factors, but also as a complex social, historical and cultural construct. They emphasize that the disease is not limited to the anatomical features of the body, but is associated primarily with living conditions, social relationships and cultural values of society. Antinosologism focuses on the fact that diseases have cultural and historical roots and arise not only from the actions of the body and its surrounding conditions, but also from social, economic and political aspects of society that affect people's health. This new paradigm requires a revision of traditional views on the concept of health and illness and involves a change in attitude towards illness, where it is not seen as something bad or dangerous for the body, but rather as a part of life that must be accepted and overcome.
