*Small* Goosefoot Small (lat. Pes anserīnus) is the scientific name of a bird found mainly in the temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere. The species' habitat is very wide - in Russia it is distributed from the western borders to Kamchatka. Crow's feet feed on insects and their larvae, seeds, nuts, berries and fruits, crustaceans, fish and tadpoles. So we can conclude that the lesser foot goose is an important part of the ecosystem of its habitat. This is a relatively small bird, ranging from 25 to 30 cm in length. It has small wings, barely exceeding half the body length. The tail is short and rounded. As the name suggests, the foot goose has modest plumage: white around the eyes, orange-brown around the wings and cheeks, and black on the back of the head, back and wings. Basically, the color of the bird changes depending on seasonal changes and the environment. *Individuals inhabiting cold areas have a lighter color and less pronounced markings* *than individuals from the southern regions*. This species has unusual winter coloration. In fact, the appearance of the crow's feet does not change that much.
