Dosage forms - 10 mg tablets, 15 mg tablets, 30 mg tablets
Composition - Active ingredient - oxazepam.

Indications for use - Neuroses, psychopathy, neurosis-like and psychopath-like conditions, accompanied by fear, anxiety, increased irritability, sleep disturbances and others; Senesto-hypochondriacal disorders and obsession; autonomic disorders in women associated with menopause, premenstrual syndrome; reactive depression (as part of combination therapy with antidepressants), alcohol withdrawal syndrome (as part of combination therapy).

Contraindications - Hypersensitivity, psychosis, severe myasthenia gravis, acute renal and/or liver failure, pregnancy (especially the first trimester), lactation, children under 6 years of age. Restrictions on use: Tendency to abuse psychotropic drugs.

Side effects - Headache, dizziness, increased fatigue, memory impairment, drowsiness (usually in the first days of treatment), lethargy, muscle weakness, ataxia, tremor, slurred speech, paradoxical reactions in mentally ill patients, incl. psychomotor agitation, anxiety; dry mouth, nausea, dyspeptic symptoms, leukopenia, liver dysfunction (including jaundice), allergic reactions, fainting, changes in libido.

Interaction - Enhances the effect of central nervous system depressants, incl. sleeping pills, anticonvulsants, alcohol.

Overdose - Symptoms: central nervous system depression of varying severity - drowsiness, confusion, lethargy; in more severe cases - ataxia, hypotension, hypnotic state, coma. Treatment: induction of vomiting, gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy, monitoring of vital functions.

Special instructions - Use with caution if there is a predisposition to arterial hypotension, especially in elderly patients, with an increased risk of drug dependence. Should not be administered with MAO inhibitors, phenothiazine derivatives. During the treatment period, alcoholic beverages are excluded. With long-term treatment, monitoring of liver function and peripheral blood patterns is necessary. Should not be used by vehicle drivers and people whose profession involves increased concentration of attention.
