Use of masks and lotions
-
In order for the effect of applying the mask to be as high as possible, you need to abandon all pressing problems and find a place where no one will disturb you.
-
Before applying the mask, cover your hair with a scarf made of easily washable artificial fabric and begin cleansing your face. Remove any remaining makeup, wash your face using non-carbonated mineral water, herbal infusions of chamomile, lavender or rosemary flowers.
-
Completely relax the muscles of your face and neck. A massage or simple grimacing is suitable for this.
-
Lightly steam your face by placing a cotton towel soaked in hot water on it. If dilated blood vessels are visible on the skin, there is no need to steam it.
-
Apply a protective layer of day or night cream to the area around the eyes and mouth. Mix the mask well again. If it is liquid, soak a piece of gauze with slits in the mixture and gently place it on your face. Apply the thick mask with a brush in strict sequence along the so-called cosmetic lines.
-
While the mask is on your face, stop all active activities. It is better to lie quietly on a flat couch or bed.
-
The most caustic masks - whitening, drying and exfoliating - always remove after 10-15 minutes. More gentle masks - nourishing, rejuvenating and soothing - remove after 20-25 minutes.
-
In order not to harm the skin, make caustic milk or sour cream masks no more than six times a year, at intervals of 2 months. Apply all gentle masks to your face as soon as the need arises, ideally once a week throughout the year.
-
After removing the mask, wipe your skin with lotion and apply your usual cream. It is not recommended to reuse leftover mask.
