Apraxia in medicine and psychiatry
Apraxia is a complex cognitive disorder in which a person is unable to act adequately and control his actions. Apraxia occurs, as a rule, due to a violation of the higher nervous functions of the centers of the brain. This disorder can occur in both severe and mild forms.
Traditionally, apraxia is divided into two types:
1. Apraxic 2. Ideatorial apraxic
These types of disorders indicate the degree of impairment of the level of movement. If a person can control them, but does it unclearly or slowly, then we are talking about the first type of apraxia
