Artery of the Scapula Transverse

The transverse scapular artery (a. transverae scapulae) is one of the branches of the internal thoracic artery, which is formed from a second-order branch - the dorsal scapular artery (a. scapularis dorsalis), which branches off from the branch circumflexing the scapula. The dorsal brachial artery (a.brachialis dorsalis) is also located within the circumflex artery.
