The spermatic artery (a. deferentia).
The artery of the spermatic duct or the artery of the vas deferens is the arterial vessel that supplies the spermatic or vas deferens and neighboring organs in men and women. This artery is located medially relative to the abdominal cavity; on the posterior surface of the anterior rectum along the vas deferens of each testicle or near the bladder or along the vas deferens of the distal penis. In men it is located on the anterior surface of the spermatic cord. It usually runs parallel to the spermatic cord. The vas deferens (in women, the uterine arteries) correspond to the number of corresponding genital organs and are lined with the common muscular layers of the uterus and vagina in women; vas deferens and urethra in men. The tributaries of the vas deferens as it passes present a similar picture.
