Arrutropid

Arutropid: an effective bronchodilator

Arutropide (international name - ipratropium bromide) is a bronchodilator used to treat chronic obstructive bronchitis, bronchial asthma, sputum hyperproduction and bronchial obstruction due to colds. Arutropide belongs to the group of m-anticholinergic drugs and is a product of the German pharmaceutical company Ankerfarm GmbH.

Arutropide is available in metered dose aerosol form containing 0.02 mg ipratropium bromide per dose. The active substance is a blocker of muscarinic receptors located in the bronchi, which helps expand the airways and makes breathing easier.

The drug is not recommended for use in cases of hypersensitivity to ipratropium bromide. Possible side effects include cough, rash, hives, dry mouth, headache and nausea. Very rarely, paradoxical bronchospasm may occur. The drug may also cause accommodation problems if it comes into contact with the eyes.

The interaction of Arutropide with other drugs may enhance its bronchodilator effect, as well as the anticholinergic effect of other drugs. In case of overdose, symptoms of systemic anticholinergic action may occur, such as dry mouth, impaired accommodation and increased heart rate. Treatment is carried out symptomatically.

Restrictions on the use of Arutropide include angle-closure glaucoma, urinary disorders due to prostatic hypertrophy, breastfeeding and pregnancy.

In conclusion, Arutropide is an effective and safe bronchodilator that can be used to treat a range of respiratory conditions. However, before you start using it, you must consult your doctor and read the instructions for use.
