Dosage forms - film-coated tablets 100 mg, film-coated tablets 50 mg
Composition - Active substance - sertraline.
Indications for use: Depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders.
Contraindications - Hypersensitivity, childhood, breastfeeding (stop during treatment).
Side effects - Impaired consciousness, generalized convulsions, migraine, dizziness, sleep disturbance, aggressiveness, amnesia, depersonalization, emotional lability, euphoria, withdrawal syndrome, headache, tachycardia, arterial hypertension or hypotension, allergic skin reactions.
Interaction - When prescribed together with MAO inhibitors, it causes hyperthermia, irritability, and impaired consciousness. Promotes the accumulation of H1 blockers.
Overdose - Symptoms: drowsiness, anxiety, nausea, vomiting, tachycardia, ECG changes. Treatment: activated charcoal, gastric lavage, forced diuresis, maintenance of vital functions.
Special instructions - If the patient is taking antidepressants of other groups (MAO inhibitors, tricyclics), then sertraline can be prescribed only 2 weeks after their discontinuation.
