Interaction: Bacteriostatic chemotherapeutic agents reduce the effect. Neomycin interferes with absorption, NSAIDs (indomethacin, phenylbutazone, salicylates) reduce excretion, increasing activity and toxicity. When combined with allopurinol, phenylbutazone, NSAIDs, calcium secretion decreases and the concentration of phenoxymethylpenicillin increases. Increases the effectiveness of anticoagulants by suppressing intestinal microflora and lowering the prothrombin index, weakening the effect of oral contraceptives taken.

Overdose: No data.

Special instructions: Use during pregnancy only if the benefit/risk ratio is in favor of benefit. In case of allergic reactions, stop taking. For suspected staphylococcal infections, conduct bacteriological studies. Before planned operations, double the dose. Monitor blood composition, liver and kidney functions. Growth of resistant microorganisms and fungi is possible. Use with caution for allergies and bronchial asthma. Consider the presence of synthetic saccharin in syrup in patients with diabetes mellitus.
